Shigureni is a Japanese cuisine. Its name comes from Shigure Hamaguri (clam stew) that Shiko Kagami (Basho Matsuo's pupil) created. Shigure Hamaguri became famous from its name sound.
There is a Japanese cuisine called Tsukudani, which tastes similar to Shigureni, but a difference is that Shigureni needs more souce than Tsukudani.
